An understated and thoughtfully designed homeware collection with a specific target in mind and keen price points.

With the aim of securing incremental sales in the homeware and kitchenware category, we set out to develop a new brand with products that would have appeal both as gifts and self-purchase. Targeting the gap between functional but uninspiring retailer’s own brands and inspiring but high-priced third-party brands.

We created a contemporary collection of everyday affordable kitchen essentials to help streamline everyday living. A brand that offered both high quality design and practical usability. With a strong visual language for the packaging, including clear typography, strong infographics and a calming design-led colour palette. It was important that the brand was synonymous with the overall DNA of the mother brand (Wild & Wolf) as they were entering this new space.

From soft woods, to brushed brass accents, the tactility of the Wildwares products was key to creating an elevated look to everyday essential products.

As competitive price points were key, we balanced a series of ‘hero’ custom molded ceramics with a carefully curated collection consisting of “off the shelf” products that complemented each other through shape, material and performance. The result was a brand that was considered, timeless, aspirational, understated, and that truly elevated the everyday.

For our bespoke products we worked closely with a 3D designer who captured the aesthetic and functionality we wanted for our designs. From the subtle ribbing on our ceramics through to their bespoke shapes. We wanted to create items that were both functional and beautiful, with an effortless style.
