Brand book design for a fashion accessories brand that celebrates sun-kissed surroundings and positive vibes for kids of all ages.
Calico Sun is dedicated to inspiring kids to express themselves with confidence, through joyful accessories. Goodlines developed the Calico Sun brand book encompassing everything from the brand’s mission and vision through to its core brand values.
We wanted the brand book’s aesthetic, from cover to cover, to completely encompass the Calico world. It’s not a document that contains the brand information, it is the brand. This was very important for us.
We identified the brands core customer and what their personalities are, visually demonstrating this in a cool fresh Calico Sun vibe.
The values sit at the heart of the brand and is embraced at every brand touch point. It was important to identify and clearly show Calico Sun’s personality, which was shown as a ‘what it is and what it’s not’, which makes it easier to digest to anyone new to the brand.
The brand book acts as a roadmap for all employees and external resources, and conveys Calico Sun’s core values: self expression, positivity, confidence and inclusivity, all with a dash of Californian sun!
As all of the brand features are encapsulated into this one helpful document, the brand book can act as a navigational resource for all future development and work for Calico Sun.
